In the early 1980s in East Berlin, Ludger is recruited by the Stasi to infiltrate and report on the dissident arts community in Prenzlauer Berg. However, his life takes a complicated turn when he becomes enamored with the enigmatic Nathalie, forcing him to decide between pursuing a life as a renowned underground poet or continuing his role as a Stasi operative. This decision will have significant repercussions for him three decades later.
