Nineteen-year-old Orla from County Antrim emerges victorious in ‘Follow a Star,’ a competition on Ireland’s national TV channel. Her reward is a mission: to track down country and western singer Jed Wood, give him a kiss, and share her journey on the next week’s broadcast. The only person available to capture her adventure is Ray Timmons, a seasoned documentary cameraman. Together, they head to New York, where they join forces with Mike, a disillusioned sound recordist, and embark on their quest to find Jed, visiting film sets and recording studios wherever he is expected to appear.
