Amy Newhouse faces the toughest challenge of her life: battling cancer. Initially, her compassionate nature inspires a wave of support from her school community. However, as her cancer spreads, this enthusiasm wanes. Miraculously, her cancer seems to vanish, and just when it appears that the community’s efforts have triumphed, Amy learns that the disease has returned and is now untreatable. Despite her continued prayers for healing, the community’s support fades, and with what seems like a divine refusal, she succumbs to the illness she cannot overcome. Yet, in her passing, a transformation occurs at Pampa High. Her club experiences significant growth, helping to eradicate the violence, drugs, and alcohol she fervently opposed, ultimately demonstrating to skeptics that there is indeed a “Greater Yes” from God.
