In the vast forests and mill towns of central Newfoundland, a quiet mystery unfolds. The discovery of a body by the river draws together a solitary fur trapper and an expectant mother burdened by sorrow. Scott, isolated and yearning for purpose, crosses paths with Mona, who is determined yet troubled by her own vulnerabilities.
