A con artist who owes money to a New Orleans mobster believes he can solve his financial woes and rekindle his romance with his financially struggling former partner by participating in an already planned bank heist. The couple reunites to carry out the plan, but they soon find themselves ensnared in a perilous situation when the robbery takes a lethal turn.
