While exploring an old ranger station, two children and their loyal dog, Barkley (voiced by Jon Lovitz), discover a treasure map. This discovery leads them on an unforgettable quest to find a long-lost gold mine. However, their journey becomes complicated when they encounter two inept criminals who are on the run from the law.
