In a bid to expand their congregation, Pastor John (played by Robert Amaya) and his wife Betsy (portrayed by Erin Bethea) make a bold decision to revamp their church’s Christmas pageant. This unexpected move leaves the elderly choir director, Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn), in shock, prompting her to lead the choir in a protest. With his job on the line, Pastor John adopts the guise of an elderly man to bridge the generational divide, win over Mary, and bring the choir back to the church. As he delves deeper, he realizes the issues are more profound than he initially thought, compelling him to embrace those who are difficult to love or face the potential collapse of his church and family.
