CREMASTER 1 (1995) is a musical performance set on the blue Astroturf of Bronco Stadium in Boise, Idaho, where Barney was born. Overhead, two Goodyear Blimps hover, reminiscent of the airships that frequently broadcast live sports on TV. Each blimp is attended by four flight attendants. The atmosphere is filled with gentle ambient music, evoking the sound of the blimps’ engines.
