Based on Gordon Korman’s popular MacDonald Hall book series, this film follows the notorious antics of Bruno Walton and Melvin “Boots” O’Neal, the most well-known mischief-makers at the esteemed boys’ institution, MacDonald Hall. Bruno, the mastermind of their schemes, consistently persuades Boots to join him in various pranks, such as swiping the mascot of a rival school, swapping the school’s flag, or sneaking into the neighboring Miss Scrimmage’s Academy for Girls Education and Awakening. Despite their relentless pranking, Bruno and Boots have a deep affection for their school and are committed to doing whatever it takes to defend it.
