After being left by her parents, Modesty was brought up by a casino owner and honed her combat skills, eventually becoming his personal protector. When an old adversary succeeds in killing the owner, Modesty becomes determined to avenge his death. This film is based on the Modesty Blaise novels and comic strip created by Peter O’Donnell.
