“Class of 3000” is an American animated series that aired on Cartoon Network. The show was created and executively produced by André 3000 from the Hip Hop duo OutKast, who also played the lead role of Sunny Bridges, a music superstar turned teacher at the Westley School of Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia. Sunny Bridges, a jazz and blues musician, occasionally gives lectures in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta. The series was a collaborative production by Tom Lynch Company, Moxie Turtle, and Cartoon Network Studios.
As of September 25, 2011, it holds the distinction of being the last Cartoon Network series to receive a TV-Y7 rating without an accompanying Fantasy Violence label, which is somewhat ironic. Additionally, it was the final show to air under the leadership of Jim Samples at Cartoon Network.
