Dave, a habitual avoider of long-term relationships, is struggling with the aftermath of ending things with his almost ideal ex-girlfriend. As he attempts to move on, his conflicting inner thoughts manifest, creating a mental tug-of-war. On the other hand, Carrie’s own fragmented inner dialogue urges her to find someone less complex. Realizing he doesn’t have much time, Dave sets out on a heartfelt, albeit occasionally clumsy, quest to overcome his commitment issues.
