It explores the sinister conspiracies involving the Red Brigades, rogue intelligence agencies, and Gladio, all of which simmered beneath the surface, symbolized by the metaphor of magma. These elements are linked to the violent deaths of notable figures such as Honorable Aldo Moro and magistrate and university professor Vittorio Bachelet, with firsthand accounts from Rosy Bindi, his assistant and a direct witness to the attack, as well as the tragic bombing at Bologna station—all incidents occurring within a two-year period.
