One year following the demise of his friend and colleague Sherlock Holmes, who fell victim to Moriarty, Dr. John Watson returns to his medical profession, taking charge of a clinic that specializes in rare diseases. Nevertheless, he quickly discovers that his past is not entirely behind him.
