A Black artist, who is using his artwork as a means to escape his past and is on the verge of achieving success, finds his journey disrupted by the sudden arrival of his long-lost father. The father, a recovering addict, is eager to mend their broken relationship. As they navigate their complex emotions, they discover that letting go of the past may prove to be more difficult than offering forgiveness.
