Gru and Lucy, along with their daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, have a new addition to their family: Gru Jr., who seems determined to give his father a hard time. Meanwhile, Gru encounters a fresh adversary in Maxime Le Mal and his dangerous partner, Valentina, which forces the entire family to flee.
