When Madelief’s grandmother passes away, her mother brings her to the funeral. Following this, she goes to see her grandfather, but soon finds herself uninterested. That is until Mischa shares stories about the joys of a countryside summer. Intrigued by a locked door, she explores her grandmother’s “summer house.” Although Madelief had no memories of her grandmother, her discoveries in the summer house reveal much about her.
