Jack, an IT programmer with a heart of gold, and Jill, a talented graphic designer, both find themselves unlucky in matters of the heart. Unbeknownst to them, fate has intertwined their paths. One evening, under a canopy of stars, they each encounter a mysterious gypsy who foretells that they will meet their soulmate before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, just five days away. As the countdown begins, Jack and Jill embark on a series of disastrous yet comical dates, narrowly missing each other each time.
