In this animated musical adventure, a young boy named Edmond is transformed into a kitten and embarks on a quest to bring back a rooster named Chanticleer, whose crowing is believed to bring up the sun. The film features the voice talents of Glen Campbell as Chanticleer and Christopher Plummer as the villainous Grand Duke of Owls.
