In the quaint town of Eden, Tennessee, Clara Banks, a neglected and innocent teenager, has developed a routine of tricking people online to receive gifts, a scheme commonly referred to as “catfishing.” She considers it harmless entertainment until she attracts the interest of a dangerous individual. Soon after, things take a dark turn as someone starts to pursue Clara and her friends relentlessly. As the repercussions of her deceit catch up with her, disturbing messages begin to appear at Clara’s house, leaving her terrified for her safety.
