Elvis Martini is in a dire situation. His run-down apartment complex in Detroit is on the brink of foreclosure by the bank, and many of his tenants owe back rent. He’s also heavily indebted to both bookies and his daughter’s school. When he stumbles upon some illicit money in the apartment of a tenant who was evicted, it temporarily alleviates his problems. However, this discovery attracts the attention of a more dangerous adversary who demands the return of the stolen cash. Matters escalate when his daughter is abducted by this mysterious threat, leaving Elvis with just 24 hours to gather $25,000 in cash.
