“Disgrace” follows the journey of a South African English professor who experiences a complete downfall. He loses his standing, his career, his tranquility, his appearance, his aspirations for artistic achievement, and ultimately, his capacity to safeguard his beloved daughter. Following an inappropriate relationship with a student, he relocates to the Eastern Cape, where he becomes entangled in the complexities of post-apartheid political issues.
