Mouna Rudo, a native of the Seediq tribe in Taiwan, grew up to join the Seediq Bale, a valiant group of indigenous fighters. His traditional way of life comes under threat when Japan occupies Taiwan in 1895. Witnessing the erosion of his people’s customs and dignity, Rudo decides it’s time to resist. In 1930, he gathers a group of former Seediq Bale warriors, who have been fragmented by internal conflicts, and transforms them into a revolutionary force. Rudo and his allies take a stand against the Japanese occupiers during a youth sports event, sparking a fierce clash between the Seediq and their colonizers. “Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale – Part 2: The Rainbow Bridge” is the second installment of the two-part, four-hour Taiwanese film “Warriors of the Rainbow.”
