In their debut feature film as co-directors, Adam Khalil and Bayley Sweitzer present “Empty Metal,” set in a world much like our own, characterized by widespread surveillance, omnipresent law enforcement, and growing personal indifference. The narrative follows the interconnected lives of various individuals who represent the extreme ends of America’s social and political spectrum.
