In his first venture as a director, actor Park Joong-hoon presents the story of Taeshik, a talent manager who unexpectedly finds himself in the spotlight as an actor. His rise to fame is swift, soon eclipsing the success of his former client. However, Taeshik becomes desperate to maintain his newfound celebrity status, resorting to unscrupulous methods. His character is reminiscent of Alain Delon’s portrayal of Tom Ripley in “Purple Noon,” where Ripley covets the life of a wealthy man and his partner. Similarly, Taeshik desires everything that his previous boss, Wonjoon, once possessed.
