During a drug-fueled, all-night party at a deserted asylum infamous for its brutal treatment of patients, a group of typical teenagers decides to dabble in the occult, inadvertently triggering a violent possession. As they scramble to find help, they discover they are trapped inside with no way to communicate with the outside world. As tensions rise and trust erodes, the group attempts to save their friend who is possessed by a demon by conducting an exorcism. However, instead of resolving the issue, they unknowingly release an even more powerful and vengeful spirit with a clear motive to kill them all.
