In this short film, part of a series commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1979 classic “Alien,” the remaining members of a crew aboard a crippled deep-space mining vessel have only a few minutes to make it to the emergency escape shuttle. Their sole guide is a motion detector, which they rely on to navigate to safety. Meanwhile, a lurking creature in the darkness menaces them. Yet, the most significant danger may have been right in front of them the entire time.
