In the film “D-Day,” a squad of British paratroopers is mistakenly deployed away from their intended location and subsequently annihilated. The sole survivor is Private Johnny Barrows, who finds himself inexperienced, frightened, and stranded in enemy territory. As he embarks on a dangerous quest to reach safety, Johnny is forced to mature and come into his own.
