“ALONE” narrates the tale of Pim, who relocates from Thailand to Korea in an attempt to flee the remorse of being the surviving twin of a conjoined pair. Through flashbacks, we witness Pim’s childhood, where her complex relationship with her sister evolves from a promise of eternal togetherness into a stifling connection that eventually necessitates their separation. Upon returning to see her ailing mother, Pim finds herself haunted by the vengeful spirit of her deceased sister, who forcefully re-enters her life.
