Ten-year-old Amanda is eager to have a dog, but her father is against the idea. When she discovers a young fox, she and her friend Maggie decide to secretly keep it as a pet. Unbeknownst to them, the fox is being chased by two clumsy and suspicious Russians who have their own hidden agenda.
