Our RoboCop Remake is a collaborative film initiative inspired by Paul Verhoeven’s iconic 1987 movie. Coordinated through Channel 101 and various other platforms, this project involves 50 filmmakers, both amateur and professional, from Los Angeles and New York. We’ve divided the original RoboCop into segments and recreated the film ourselves. While it’s not a shot-for-shot remake, it is a scene-by-scene reinterpretation. As devoted admirers of the original RoboCop and as filmmakers and cinephiles somewhat skeptical of Hollywood’s remake trend, we’ve chosen to approach this remake in our unique style.
