“Da Vinci’s Inquest” is a Canadian drama series that was broadcast on CBC Television from 1998 until 2005. Although it never achieved massive viewership, the show produced seven seasons, each consisting of thirteen episodes, culminating in a total of ninety-one episodes.

The series, which takes place and is shot in Vancouver, features Nicholas Campbell in the role of Dominic Da Vinci. Formerly an undercover officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Da Vinci is now a dedicated coroner determined to uncover the truth in the cases he handles.

The ensemble cast also includes Gwynyth Walsh as Patricia Da Vinci, Dominic’s former wife and the chief pathologist, Donnelly Rhodes as detective Leo Shannon, and Ian Tracey as detective Mick Leary.
