Just before their wedding day, Alison starts having doubts and chooses to end her engagement with Phil. However, to avoid the humiliation of canceling the event, she proposes that they go through with a fake wedding. Phil agrees to the plan, secretly wishing that a special gift he has for Alison might make her reconsider.
