Drawing heavily from real-life events like the occupy movements and global protests of the past three years, “The Lost Generation” offers an engaging yet pertinent reflection on today’s media and societal landscape. The film invites us to follow SJ, a reality TV star and the inspiring female protagonist, as she embarks on a monumental struggle for survival in a dystopian version of our contemporary world. In this narrative, a corrupt media empire controls the police and government, using mass surveillance to expose governmental scandals and craft propaganda dictating how people should live, leaving citizens in a state of desperation. However, hope remains in the form of a group known as The Unknown.
