Tim is somewhat of an introvert. At school, he connects with another reserved boy, and they form a friendship. However, the harassment and intimidation from a group of students, coupled with aggressive social media tactics, cause Tim’s new friend to distance himself—a cowardly move that leads to significant consequences. Because Tim chooses not to report the bullies, they seem to escape punishment, especially the group’s leader, Jeff. Jeff is a top athlete at the school, almost assured a spot in the national championships with his impressive 800m time of 1.54 minutes. When Tim decides to train to compete against Jeff, even using a girlfriend as a distraction, his adversaries appear ready to go to any extent to thwart his efforts.
