During a chaotic weekend in Las Vegas, a group of four young friends finds themselves in hot water with a loan shark, forcing them to make a quick escape from the city. However, their gambling woes soon become the least of their concerns when they end up stuck in the Nevada desert. One of the friends stumbles upon a strange metal piece and subsequently vanishes overnight. When the remaining trio locates their missing companion, they notice a peculiar change in him. As his state deteriorates, they begin to suspect that a supernatural presence might be pursuing them in the desert.
