A group consisting of six men, a woman, and her brother unite with a single aim: to stage a play. This theater troupe, made up of unconventional characters adrift in time and space, resides in a town where the sun seems to rise in the west. Under the leadership of Sasha, a director who has recently returned to his roots, these socially maladjusted amateurs embark on a journey to confront their inner demons and the societal prejudices they face. They choose a Western as their narrative framework, playing on the genre’s stereotypes of the battle between good and evil, and the clash between civilization and the untamed. As they delve into their personal stories, they inevitably influence and transform one another. Despite the production increasingly resembling an impossible mission, most of the participants begin to view it as a metaphor for their destinies, clinging to it as the chance of a lifetime.
