His solitary life is disrupted when Penny Rudge, an energetic nurse, arrives to help ease his stiffness. Her unique massage techniques prove highly effective, and the two form a close friendship. Harold consents to test a potential cure at a private facility, and the initial outcomes are promising. However, the next day, his condition deteriorates further. After Penny inadvertently hears the doctor’s grim prognosis for Harold, she decides to secretly take him away the following morning.
