This touching film tells the story of Cooper, a dog who miraculously survives a devastating car crash. Jake, the head of the family, tragically loses his wife and children in the accident. Initially, Jake harbors anger and resentment towards Cooper for being the sole survivor, as he has never been fond of dogs. Over time, however, Jake forms a connection with Cooper, and this newfound relationship becomes his lifeline, giving him a reason to get up each day and helping him cope with his profound grief.
