In the late 1970s, a group of college students accompanied by their professor set out to explore an uninhabited island, eager to study its plants and wildlife while enjoying some lighthearted fun. However, their educational outing quickly turns into a horrifying ordeal when they realize they are trapped on the island, which is teeming with voracious, flesh-devouring zombies. These undead creatures have been brought back to life and are controlled by a deranged Nazi scientist.
