Young Andy, a nerdy student with aspirations of becoming a renowned inventor, struggles to come up with a groundbreaking concept for the Science Fair that will outshine the cunning twins, April and May. To complicate matters, his father is pushing him to join the football team, which he coaches and where Andy’s older brother is the star player. Seeking guidance, Andy turns to the town’s eccentric scientist, Dr. Frankenstein, but during his visit to the eerie mansion, he encounters Frank, a green, football-loving teenage monster who envies Andy’s ability to participate in the sport. Andy hatches a plan for them to swap roles, believing it could solve both of their dilemmas. Initially, everything goes according to plan, but soon they find themselves facing a monstrous predicament that endangers the entire town.
