After a workplace altercation, the main character, Katsutoshi, decides to leave town and finds solace at a salon named “Tokyo Playboy Club,” which is managed by his old friend Seikichi in Tokyo. At the same time, Eriko, who is dating a waiter at the salon, is compelled to take on a role as a hostess there after her boyfriend lands in some trouble. The plot thickens when Katsutoshi gets into a violent confrontation with a minor local thug, severely injuring him. This event entangles Katsutoshi, Seikichi, and Eriko in a more serious predicament.
