Imagine a comedic twist on “The Devil Wears Prada,” where the iconic role played by Meryl Streep is reimagined by Alan Tam, a celebrated pop singer from Hong Kong’s 1980s music scene. The story follows Zhou Xiaohui, a promising journalist who has earned the respect of Alex, leading to his recruitment by Ming Shang Magazine three years prior. As Zhou Xiaohui’s star continues to rise, Alex starts to perceive him as a threat and devises a plan to have him dismissed. Infuriated by this betrayal, Zhou Xiaohui departs from Ming Shang, taking Assistant Editor Yinghong and Xiaopang with him, to launch his own fashion publication, Modern Magazine, with financial backing from his close friend Wuyang.
