Telmo, a former theater director now retired, comes to the realization that he has no recollection of his imprisonment during Brazil’s military dictatorship. To confront this gap in his memory, he chooses to direct a play, using fragments of his past to create dialogue with his youthful ensemble. As Telmo delves into his personal history, he uncovers memories that are so distressing, he had preferred to keep them buried.
