In an effort to salvage her ailing father’s legacy, Ana journeys to the secluded town of Rosales. Many years prior, her father had established his initial free clinic for cancer research there, marking the beginning of a distinguished medical career and a romantic chapter in his life. Ana intends to honor her father’s scientific and humanitarian contributions by converting the family’s ancestral home into a prestigious museum. Her goal is to both preserve his legacy and rejuvenate the neglected town of Rosales. However, she is met with a cold reception from the impoverished and despondent locals, as well as from the house itself.
