In the film “Ánglio,” set in the east side of L.A., Rikki Ortega aspires to become the ruler of the streets, guided by his belief that life offers either silver or lead. However, his path is obstructed by his older siblings and brother-in-law. While they focus on eliminating the Rojas, a local gang managing the meth trade for leaders in Cabo San Lucas, Rikki orchestrates a complex betrayal against his own family. His ambitions extend beyond this treacherous scheme; he aims to profit from the hundred kilos of crystal meth he swiped from the Rojas and their Mexican associates, charm the girlfriend of one of his targets, and outsmart a police officer who was once his childhood friend.
