Ja-yeong, at 42, receives a message from her husband about his plans to emigrate, prompting her to flee the mental institution out of fear of losing contact with her son. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Cho-hee, unable to fend off the hospital director’s sexual advances, discovers she is pregnant. Instead of fear, she feels joy at the prospect of starting a family and decides to escape the facility to protect her unborn child. The two women successfully break free and embark on a journey together. In the meantime, the hospital director enlists Hyeon-su, a private investigator, to track them down. As Ja-yeong and Cho-hee encounter various individuals along their journey, they begin to understand each other, leading to the shattering of their previous misconceptions.
