Edgar, a young man from an upper-middle-class background nearing his 30th birthday, finds himself in the throes of a life crisis, a situation familiar to many Brazilians. He is caught between a corrupt and neglectful government, which imposes heavy taxes without fulfilling its responsibilities, and the ever-present threat of organized crime and violence in urban areas. In response, Edgar takes on the role of a contemporary vigilante. Utilizing technology, misinformation, and manipulation, he devises an ingenious scheme that exploits his adversaries’ greed to bring about their downfall.
