In Italy, 1947, Attilio, a former movie star with a tarnished reputation due to his Fascist past, finds himself in dire straits. Driven by desperation, he becomes part of a group of thieves planning a heist. Following the crime, Attilio and his accomplices seek shelter in a house that turns out to be perilous.
