In the hectic lead-up to Christmas, two single parents find themselves in a predicament. Abby (Lachey), a hardworking mother, and her son, along with Ryan (Zub), a stressed-out attorney, and his daughter, mistakenly swap their toys at a bustling department store. This mix-up threatens to spoil both of their holiday celebrations. Despite their initial dislike for one another, they must collaborate to restore their festive plans, all the while unknowingly developing feelings for each other.
